About Kirk
Kirk’s passion for “Making Memories” is his commitment to guests that come on board. From a casual fishing trip, a competitive fishing group or a leisurely sunset cruise, he will tailor make your trip to meet your needs. Growing up as a native Texan, he has been fishing several of the East Texas lakes; Tawakoni, Fork, Sam Rayburn, Palestine, Cedar Creek, Eagle Mountain, Ray Roberts, and Richland Chambers for 30+ years. From 2005 to 2010 he spent time fishing for speckled trout and redfish in Southeastern Louisiana. Now it is time for him to help you and your family, friends, or corporate group to experience a guided fishing trip on Lake Tawakoni or experience a stellar sunset on a pleasure cruise!

- $275.00 for 1 or 2 anglers
- $50.00 for each additional angler up to 5
- Sundays and Holidays add $50.00 for the day

- Custom corporate and team building charters or cruises

“Making Memories” while searching for a great fish fight or enjoying a casual pleasure cruise, K/P uses only the best equipment to make sure your time on Lake Tawakoni is bountiful and safe!
The FISHIN’ BARGE® 24 DLX delivers all the room for “making memories” on the water and has many fishing features. Four fishing chairs (two at the bow, two aft) provide comfortable spots to cast from, or relax while you wait for a bite. Caught a keeper? The bow and stern livewells are both aerated to keep your keepers healthy. Other seating is in the form of the forward-helm couch and aft L-lounge, both with our STOW MORE™ seat storage system to keep your gear handy and ready to go.

Where do we meet for Fishing or Sunset Charters?
KP Tawakoni Guide Service launches from the Red Bear RV Resort. The address is 101069 Red Bear Lane, Wills Point, TX 75169
What fishing gear is furnished ?
All rods and reels will be provided by KP Guide Service. If you have personal gear please inform before bringing on board, typically 1 rod per guest.
What Time do we depart ?
TBD depending on season
Music on the Pleasure cruises ?
Bring your own, cruises. Double oxhead for old ipod equipment available, bluetooth for current equipment.
What do I need to Bring for the Fishing Charter ?
Required:
Valid Texas Fishing License
Suggestions for comfort:
- Appropriate clothing for the weather;
Summer – Light loose fitting clothes, Cap or Hat, Windbreaker
Winter – layers work best; windbreaker, rain jacket or Gortex jacket, your preference of head covering, water resistant is suggested - Sunglasses
- Sunblock
Drinks and Snacks:
Bring in a water tight chest or bag for your drink .
Are Children allowed to onboard ?
Fishing Charters – Ages 8+ or check with Captain. Safety equipment furnished for adults. All Children must furnish their own floatation equipment and IS REQUIRED.
Pleasure Cruises – Ages 4+, Safety equipment furnished for all adults. All Children must furnish their own floatation equipment and IS REQUIRED.
